Nine out of ten sizing questions we get on WhatsApp are answered by one measurement: the height of the idol, from the base he stands or sits on to the very top of his head, crown included if it is moulded into the murti.
The two-minute method
- Stand a ruler or measuring tape behind your Thakurji.
- Read the height at the top of the head. Note it in inches.
- Match it on the size chart, every product page carries it, and the size finder does the matching for you.
If you already have a vagha that fits
Lay it flat and measure straight across the widest point. That diameter maps to the same 0–6 scale on the chart, both routes give the same number.
Between two sizes?
Go up, not down. A slightly loose vagha drapes beautifully and leaves room for the shringar; a tight one will not close at the back. And if your Thakurji is larger than size 6, we stitch custom sizes to order, use the customisation form on any product page.

Real zari is metallic thread. Machine wash it once and it goes dull forever.
